Our goal for this project was to transcend the typical limitations of a basement footprint, transforming it into a light-filled, expansive sanctuary. Drawing inspiration from Zen principles, we curated a space that prioritises serenity, warmth, and fluidity. The result is a high-end retreat that acts as a quiet counterpoint to the vibrant energy of the surrounding Seton community.

Design Details The design language is defined by a monochromatic, warm-neutral palette that enhances the sense of space.
- Living & Dining: We utilised an open-concept layout to maximise flow, anchoring the living area with plush, textural furnishings that invite relaxation.
- The Kitchen: Balancing form and function, the kitchenette features modern integrated appliances and sleek millwork, designed to provide full utility without visual clutter.
- Private Quarters: The two ensuite bedrooms were treated as individual hotel-style suites. We selected premium linens and soft lighting to create an atmosphere of immediate rest.
- Spa Bathrooms: The bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs and high-end fixtures, turning daily routines into spa-like rituals.

The Result: A sophisticated, multi-functional dwelling that marries the comfort of a home with the curated elegance of a boutique hotel.
